ocVertigo is South Orange County’s Premier Rock Band established in 1998, all members residing locally.

Randy Dannettelle, lead vocalist, and Richard Stevens, bass guitarist, have been together in a band for 11 years. After surviving a revolving throne to several celebrity drummers for a decade, then losing one drummer to Edgar Winter and another to Great White,  the talented Chris Derksen made it his permanent seat. He saw ocVertigo at a club, dug their sound, auditioned, and it was a great match.  Jerry France, the latest addition to the band, subbed in when the regular lead guitarist was out of town. His strong harmonies and wild antics made it a crazy evening and he stuck around as well. When the band decided to add a new sound and new songs to their repertoire, they went looking for a keyboard player. Not for long. As fate would have it Randy met Tim Tupper (aka "Flash" known for his quick fingers at the keyboards) right away; another perfect fit. Between the members of the band, at one time or another, they have shared the stage with: Cheap Trick, Journey, Kansas, War, Santana, Billy Squire, Night Ranger,  Edie Money, Huey Lewis & the News, Tesla, Fuel and many other well known bands. Their hard work and dedication has made them the great band they are today. 

Each talented member of the band has been composing and recording original music for many years. Right now they are collaborating in the studio, working to produce and record their songs expected to be released next year.

ocVertigo's music ranges from 70’s to current hits, have experience at all venues, whether it is casual or a black tie affair. The band is as comfortable in an intimate setting as well as a hall of thousands, and have just as much fun with both; they love what they do which is evident in their performances.
